HCB DATA
LABORATORY
Following the principles established by the Lisbon City Council’s LxDataLab a nucleus of the Urban Data Laboratory will be implemented at HCB, which will challenge the international scientific community with a focus on priority areas and actions under development at HCB, and on the needs of the project and the local community.
The challenges will be identified collaboratively by the project partners and the scientific coordination structure, contemplating the attribution of prizes and will have as raw material specific data collected in the project and others available in the city through LxDataLab.
The project is part of Lisbon’s smart city – which seeks to be based on the generation of knowledge by the national and international scientific community -, through the Intelligent Management Platform (PGIL), a platform for gathering IoT information with analytical potential for advanced city management and public policy evaluation and modeling.
